Coffee Mate is interfering with the plant-based movement. The popular coffee creamer brand recently announced the launch of its very first coffee creamer in its 50-year history with new almond creamers and oat milk in two flavors, French Vanilla and Caramel. Both new flavors will be available at select Walmart locations starting in October and will be available at grocery stores and retailers nationwide in January 2023.
According to Coffee Mate, the new creams combine flavors fans already love with a smooth, blended base of oat and almond milk. The demand for vegan creamers has seen steady growth in recent years, and in 2022 they represented 15 percent of the total coffee creamer category.
“While cream lovers continue to strive for diversity, in terms of flavor and ingredients, it was only natural that coffee mate came into the factory space,” said Leonardo Aisborough, Senior Director of Brand Marketing at Nestlé and Head of the Creamer Business Unit. “Now everyone can have the best of both worlds – the delicious taste of Coffee Mate, which features plant-based ingredients.”

That’s just the latest news from Coffee Mate, which this summer announced seasonal fall offerings, including the launch of a new flavor, Toll House Brown Butter Chocolate Chip Cookie Flavored Creamer.
The Toll House Brown Butter Chocolate Chip Cookie Flavored Creamer is a collaboration with Toll House for a seasonal cream flavor – a previous collaboration, Cookies ‘n Cocoa was an especially big hit. This year, the new flavor will feature notes of semi-sweet chocolate, brown sugar with butter and caramel and said to bring the rich taste of fresh biscuits to your cup.
Also returning this season are two iconic and beloved flavors: Coffee mate Spicy Pumpkin Creamer and Coffee mate Peppermint Mocha Flavored Creamer. Both of these varieties are fan favorites, and they both come with a sugar-free option, too.
