Brutal victories injury luck

The Baltimore Ravens may have won the season opener, but they have already lost two starters of the year.

The Baltimore Ravens were decimated by injuries in 2021, which put them last in North Asia. The hope was that injuries would put them behind a health declaration for 2022. After the first week, they have already lost two starters to the season.

In the team’s first-week game against the New York Jets, Jawan James had to be sent off with an Achilles tendon injury, and cornerback Kyle Fuller had to walk off the field after grabbing his left knee.

On Monday, Ravens coach John Harbo announced that James tore his left Achilles tendon and it’s over for the season. The bad news continued, as Fuller was also finished for a year after rupturing the ACL.

The Ravens lose Kyle Fuller, Jawan James for the season with injuries

Unfortunately, the injury bug still plagued James. Just last year, he ruptured the same Achilles tendon before the 2021 season in Baltimore now, he suffered the same injury in the first week and is now sidelined.

James’ loss this season is deeply hurting Baltimore on the left tackle. He got his start against the Gates after they disqualified Ronnie Stanley, as he is recovering from an ankle injury.

As for Fuller, he just signed with the Ravens this season after spending the 2021 season with the Denver Broncos. In the Jets game, Fuller scored three joint interventions

The Ravens cruised to a 24-9 victory on the Jets behind three touchdown passes from quarterback Lamar Jackson, two of which went to Devin DuVernay.

Now, the Ravens will be looking to overcome these injuries and score a win in Week Two against the Miami Dolphins, who defeated the New England Patriots 20-7.
