LineageOS 19 is now available for Xiaomi Mi 8 SE, Mi 9 Lite and Mi 9 SE

The LineageOS team added three new devices to the LineageOS 19 build roster last week, including the Moto Edge 20, Google’s ADT-3 developer kit, Android TV, and Dynalink 4K TV Box. The custom ROM based on Android 12 is now available for a few devices. The latest devices to receive the official LineageOS 19 builds include Xiaomi Mi 8 SE, Mi 9 Lite, Mi 9 SE, and Redmi Note 9S.

If you want to try LineageOS 19 on any of these devices, you can download the version by following the LineageOS Wiki link given below.

To install LineageOS 19 on these devices, you will have to unlock the bootloader and install a custom recovery like TWRP. If you are not sure how to do it, you can follow the steps in How to install a custom ROM and how to install TWRP guides. Once this is done, follow the installation instructions outlined in the LineageOS Wiki for your device to flash the custom ROM.

Make sure to backup your data before unlocking the bootloader, or else you will lose it during the process. Also note that LineageOS 19 does not come with Google apps pre-installed. You will have to update a proper GApps package after installing the ROM if you want to use any of the Google apps or services. Follow the steps in How to download and install the latest GApps guide to flash the GApps package on your device.
