After the Splatoon 3 special edition of the Nintendo Switch OLED console debuted last month, Nintendo has opened pre-orders for a new design based on the upcoming video games Pokemon Scarlet and Violet. It’s expected to arrive at your doorstep on November 4th, and all the details you need to get one of them can be found below.

The new Pokemon-themed Nintendo Switch OLED system features the legendary Pokemon Corydon and Miraido on the front of the dock and special illustrations of the Pokémon Starter Sprigatito, Fuecoco, and Quaxly along with various crimson and violet icons on the back of the console itself. Naturally, the Joy-Con controllers come in the title colors and include the Naranja Academy and Uva Academy logos.

Pokemon Scarlet and Violet will be located in the all-new Paldea region, which is based on the Iberian Peninsula in Europe. The new games are the first open world Pokémon games, in which players can explore the area without any specific paths to follow. The games will also feature the Terastal phenomenon, a new gimmick that crystallizes Pokemon and boosts their attack power related to a specific type of attack. While most Pokémon will have a “Tera Type” that matches one of the two Pokémon types, some Pokémon will have alternate types, opening up a world of possibilities in battles.
