Hideo Kojima releases a teaser poster for a new project

Hideo Kojima has released a teaser image for an upcoming project. Hideo Kojima is a very mysterious man who loves mysterious marketing. For years, he’s been pulling all kinds of stunts to draw attention to his games and they’re always in the works and becoming a huge talking point for the industry for the right amount of time. Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain A trailer was advertised with a fake studio and only the subtitle is the title of the game. Marketing focused exclusively on the game’s introduction which sees Snake trying to escape from a hospital that has been stormed by unknown forces. It was later revealed to be a new Metal Gear Solid game from Hideo Kojima. There is also notorious PT The demo, which was a secret teaser for Kojima’s new Silent Hill.

Now, he’s back to his old ways. Kojima Productions has released a new teaser image for its next project (via Geoff Keighley) and it’s as mysterious as you wish. It’s a picture of what appears to be a blonde-haired, dark-faced woman and some text says “Who am I?” There is also a strange symbol on the label, although it does not appear to be from any of his other works. Perhaps the text indicates that this is a famous person, which is no surprise to Kojima. He is a huge fan of cinema and is a close friend of many of the big names in Hollywood, which allows him to catch a glimpse of actors like Norman Reedus, Kiefer Sutherland, and others in his games over the years.

Hideo Kojima indicated that he was bringing the VR experience to the Tokyo Game Show this week, but it was confirmed that it’s not a new game and it’s just a VR version of the studio entrance. Kojima also confirmed over the summer that he was working on an Xbox game, but it might be too early to expect any news from this game. Either way, it definitely looks like something is on the horizon.
