Sasha Banks (Mercedes Farnado) and Naomi (Trinity Fatu) have been pretty busy since leaving WWE, appearing at big premieres and even walking the runway multiple times during New York Fashion Week. They couldn’t have been more thrilled to participate in one of the biggest fashion events, and Bayley came out to support her friends over the weekend. In a new interview with In the podcast click, Bayley was asked about Banks and Naomi’s walk down the runway, and she couldn’t be more proud of them. However, she was also asked about their current situation with WWE, and although she has not commented on what happened prior to that now-famous Monday Night Raw, she has said that if they return to WWE, she will kick them out. So maybe they should stay on the runway.
When asked about the situation that led them to leave WWE in the first place, Bayley said, “It’s hard to give any ideas because I wasn’t there personally, you know, and no matter if I was there, no one would understand their mindset, theirs, or what happened besides Sasha and Naomi, so, it’s hard for me to give any kind of insight into that because I’m not really sure.”
“All I know is that what they’re doing now is killing her,” Bailey said. “I’ve been able to spend time with them and they’re weird – they’re models.” “They are actresses or singers. They are amazing. Wherever they go, no matter what they do, I support them. They will take over everywhere, take over the world, whatever they want to do, they will do a great job.”
Bayley revealed that she felt like a proud mom when she watched them walk the runway and when they won the Women’s Tag Team Championship at WrestleMania, but she’s still the best dog in WWE even if they come back.
“I was so nervous about them. I felt like a mom or something. I watched them win the Women’s Tag Team titles at WrestleMania. But I felt so different watching them go out on this runway for such a big deal and something they both wanted to do and felt passionate about. So proud. With them, and it was so much fun. I had a great time,” Bailey said. “If they ever come back, I’ll kick them in the ass. They might be afraid to come back for me. You might want to stay on the runway.”
WWE fans hope Banks and Naomi will return one day, but for now at least they can see the duo in action on the runway. Additionally, many are hoping Banks will return in The Mandalorian Season 3, and perhaps more acting roles are on the way as well. We just have to wait and see.
