Jamie Lee Curtis hints at new threat in Michael Myers final fight

Except for one complement, the whole Halloween The series centered around the horror caused by masked Michael Myers, but according to star Jamie Lee Curtis, the upcoming movie The end of Halloween He might see another threat making their presence known in Haddonfield, Illinois. The subtle confusion came from a piece of behind-the-scenes footage, as shared disgusting, although the ambiguity surrounding her notes, in conjunction with the film’s official synopsis, could paint an entirely different picture. Whatever threats the movie may carry, all of its secrets will be confirmed within a month, as The end of Halloween It arrives in theaters and on the Peacock on October 14th.

“It’s a movie about the final reckoning…between Laurie and Michael,” Curtis shared on the feature. “There’s a fight between them, and the irony is that the 2018 and 2021 films were about a woman who prepared for Michael. Every single day in her life, since she was 17. This is a movie she’s already moved on to. Because Laurie doesn’t see Michael coming. And that’s a completely different outcome. So The fight with Michael is much more violent and unexpected, and it should be like a street brawl.”

She continued, “This movie, this other character comes into place that worries her, but she doesn’t think about Michael. Then Michael came back. And so the fight was an unexpected brawl.”

A point worth exploring is that Curtis claims that Laurie is “interested” in another character, which could mean that a character is a threat or it could just be a character that she’s invested in. As she continued to talk about the film, she spoke up the opening sequence.

“The opening of this movie is a parent’s worst nightmare. This is a babysitter with a child on Halloween night, and it’s so wrong. It’s just so crazy,” Curtis elaborated.

The new movie is officially described as “Four years since the events of last year Halloween killsLaurie lives with her granddaughter Alison (Andy Matichak) and finishes writing her memoirs. Michael Myers has not been seen since. After allowing Michael’s ghost to define and push her reality for decades, Laurie decides to free herself from fear and anger and embrace life. But as a young man, Corey Cunningham (Rohan Campbell; Hardy Boys, Virgin River), accused of killing a boy who was looking after his children, sparks a chain of violence and terror that will finally force Laurie to confront the evil she cannot control, once and for all.”

The big question is who killed the little boy in the opening scenes of the movie and why Cory was blamed. If Laurie moved on from Michael, you’ll likely wonder what could have motivated Cory to kill or who was really responsible for the murder. Regardless, if Laurie were to investigate what really happened to the kid, whatever the reason behind Michael Myers’ return, she clearly wouldn’t see him coming.

The end of Halloween It arrives in theaters and on the Peacock on October 14th.
