The second annual Disney + Day event took place on September 8, and the D23 Expo 2022 event that followed included plenty of new reveal for fans of Marvel, Star Wars, Pixar, and more. In fact, the next few days are going to be exciting for Disney fans, and that includes the Disney+ subscription deal. Until September 19 at 11:59 PM PT / 2:59 AM ET, “new and eligible returning subscribers” will be able to Get 1 month of Disney+ here for just $1.99.

That’s a small price to pay to check out the enhanced IMAX streaming debut of Marvel Studios’ Thor: Love and Thunder and retelling of Disney’s Pinocchio live events, along with new episodes of She-Hulk: Attorney at Law and Star Wars: Andor and Hocus Pocus 2 and more. You can see the full list of content coming to Disney+ in September 2022 here.

While the $1.99 deal is a no-brainer for what will become a massive month on the service, keep in mind that the price of a Disney+ subscription will go up to $7.99 per month after the discount period ends. Moreover, a significant increase in prices for December is looming. Disney+ Premium (no ads) will go up to $10.99 per month and $109.99 per year. Disney+ Basic (with ads) will be offered at the current price of $7.99 per month.

Existing Disney bundle subscribers can keep their “Legacy” bundle, which includes Disney+ (without ad tier), both Hulu and ESPN+ with ads, for $14.99 per month. The new Disney Premium package, which features ad-free tiers on Disney+ and Hulu, and the ad-supported ESPN+ tier will cost $19.99 per month.

Of course, if you decide not to continue after the $1.99 per month Disney+ Day offer, you can simply cancel your subscription until some irresistible new content appears and/or the next deal kicks in.
