Like other Team Ninja games, Wo Long – set in a dark fantasy world – seems to have a great sword fighting system, which this time around is based around Chinese martial arts.

This is a description of the game…

A new dark fantasy masquerade game Three Kingdoms from Team NINJA, developers of Nioh.

184 AD, the later Han Dynasty of China. The land is wracked with chaos and destruction. An imperial dynasty that had thrived for so many years was on the verge of collapse.

Wo Long: Fallen Dynasty is the dramatic, action-packed story of an unknown militia soldier fighting for survival in a dark fantasy version of the later Han Dynasty where demons plagued the Three Kingdoms. Players fight against deadly creatures and enemy soldiers using a sword based on Chinese martial arts, trying to beat the odds by awakening true strength from within.

Wo Long refers to a crouching dragon, and also refers to a hero or a great person that is not yet known. This is the story of the officers, who would later become heroes, during the period of the “unknown”, as well as the story of the hero’s rise from being “nobody”.

From the depths of darkness, a dragon rises.
