The Dragon House keeps the harbinger of the death of one of the main characters

Dragon House Viewers were already feeling like they were on a pretty wild ride (to say the least), but amid all the betrayals and blood ties (perhaps too tight for the latter), the series has been slowly but surely sewing the fate of one main character right before our eyes!

From the start of the series, we’ve been constantly reminded that King Viserys I’m not as assertive as it seems. and as Dragon House During episodes 2, 3 and 4, the showrunners slowly but surely show that as much as family turmoil feeds Viserys alive, there is already a disease consuming his body as well.

Dragon House Episode 4, “King of the Narrow Sea” Much focus is placed on Princess Rainera (Milli Alcock)’s curious relationship with her uncle Prince Damon (Matt Smith). However, Reinera and Damon’s experience went hand in hand with that of Queen Aliscent, Reinera’s childhood friend, with her husband, King Viserys. While Rhaenyra and Daemon became intimate within the Pleasure House, Alicent performed her royal duty, first by bathing Viserys in the bath, and taking care of his growing sick body, covered in pests, with mold in his hands already costing the king multiple fingers. Later, the queen leaves the king his way with her, and Viserys’ naked body tells an even more shocking story of the development of the disease.

While some Game of thrones Fans would be quick to say that Viserys I suffers from Greyscale, and his disease is very similar to what we now call leprosy. While leprosy today is a treatable disease, it was much less so in the medieval era. However, leprosy was not an open and closed case of premature death, even at that time: people could live for decades with infectious bacteria, despite scars and amputations, and still die a fairly early death. This definitely seems to be the path King Viserys is on, which means it’s not a question of whether King Viserys will die, more like:

As always with Dragon HouseWe know the general framework of the Targaryen family history – but the devil is in the details. The show made it clear that the focus (for now) is how the Viserys I family disintegrates on the line of succession – a succession that only begins when the King is no more. What’s not clear, however, is how this series itself goes.

We know that Dragon House He has a big time jump and big character reworks are coming. It’s hard to believe that Viserys Anna survived after crossing that time gap. So far, the previews for Dragon House Episode 5 doesn’t look like we’re going to get that big forward movement – but how long am I going to stay there for the Buddy Considine drama?

Dragon House New episodes air every Sunday on HBO and HBO Max.
