Leak reveals some possible specifications of the iPhone 15 series

Apple announced iPhone 14 And the iPhone 14 Pro Models just two weeks ago. Missing it, the regular models are pretty polished iterations of the iPhone 13. Meanwhile, the high-end variants contain exciting upgrades. This includes the all-new dynamic island – which replaces the notch. In the Screen section, we also get the Always On Display (AOD) feature. Apart from that, the cameras got some significant improvements when compared to their predecessors. Now that the iPhone 14 units have reached customers, iPhone 15 leaks are starting to surface. Apple distinguished between the regular and Pro iPhones in several hardware divisions this year. We expect the difference to be even greater in the iPhone 15 series next year.

iPhone 15 leaks

by reliability leaksNext year, the upcoming iPhone 15 series could include these changes:

  • All models are said to ditch the Lightning port in favor of USB Type-C.
  • Dynamic Island could stop being the Pro exclusive and appear on regular models.
  • It is expected that, just like this year, Apple will only include the latest SoC on Pro models. So the regular iPhone 15 models will get the A16 Bionic, while the higher-end models will get an all-new A17.
  • New naming scheme could fall off Pro Max Label. In this case, we will get the iPhone 15, 15 Plus, 15 Pro and 15 Ultra. This would simplify naming and reduce suffixes For one word at most.
  • The 6.7-inch Ultra model – which will replace the Pro Max – could have exclusive features, apart from the larger screen. This would make the 6.1-inch Pro model a mid-range option (of sorts) in a particular line.
  • Apple may work to support 8K video recording. Whether he keeps it as an Ultra or a Pro exclusive is unclear.
  • The company may aim to improve battery life, particularly on the Ultra model, to last 3-4 hours longer.

We expect the iPhone 15 to be launched in September 2023. It may be rolled out along with the Apple Watch Series 9 and other products. If you’re planning on buying a regular iPhone 14, you might want to hold back until late 2023. Otherwise, the iPhone 14 Pro is a solid buy for this year — with plenty of notable improvements.
