Houston crime: HPD search for suspect who shot man to death during argument on El Camino del Rey!

Houston, Texas (KTRK) – Houston police are looking for a suspect who said he shot a man to death during an argument Tuesday afternoon.

Officers responded to a shooting call at 5500 Block in El Camino Del Rey in southwest Houston at about 1:45 p.m. Police said there was an apparent disturbance between two black men, which led to an altercation.

During the quarrel, the suspect pulled out a pistol and shot the victim several times in the chest. Police said the victim was pronounced dead at the scene.

Then the suspect fled the area. Police said they are working to obtain witnesses and surveillance video.

“My advice to the suspect (who) who fired the firearm is to go ahead and turn yourself in,” Commander Adrian Rodriguez of the Jessner South Division HPD.
