Leading Bengali-focused company Huishui has unveiled a list of 25 Indian and Bangladeshi personalities to mark its fifth anniversary.
Hoichoi, now in its sixth year, revealed 21 shows from India and four from Bangladesh at a gala in Kolkata on Tuesday. Creators Srijit Mukherji, Dhrubo Banerjee, Anirban Bhattacharya, Sahana Dutta, Syed Ahmed Shawki, Ashfaque Nipun and more continue their journey with Hoichoi, while Raj Chakraborty and Arindam Sil make their live broadcast debut.
Hoichoi co-founder Vishnu Mohta said monthly active users increased by 40% and the international user base increased by 30%. Hoichoi is operated by studio SVF Entertainment, and launched in 2017.
