Jamila Jamil from She-Hulk explains how Titania would react to her Thunderbolts roster

past weeks She-Hulk: Attorney at Law It brought the full debut of Mary McPherran / Titania (Beautiful Jamil), a character whose fans were so excited to see enter the Marvel Cinematic Universe. The villain – reimagined as a social media influencer with a bone to pick with Jennifer Walters/She-Hulk (Tatiana Maslany) – has a unique and unexpected relationship with many of the heroes and villains in the pages of Marvel Comics. One theory as to how this might have turned out on screen was Titania being a member of the Thunderbolts, a team of antagonistic heroes set to make their cinematic debut in 2024. While Titania has not been confirmed to be part of the Lightning Film slate so far, Jamila recently told the Phase Zero podcast on ComicBook.com how she’d respond to the likes of Bucky Barnes/Winter Soldier (Sebastian Stan) and Alexei Shostakov/Red Guardian (David Harbor).

“You will fight everyone,” Jamil explained. She’ll fight everyone. In the comics, she fights people on her own team. She fights her next husband. She’s just combative. She’s not really a team player. And she’s out to make a name just for herself. Like Titania is her biggest ride or die. She -Hulk has Nikki. Titania doesn’t need Nikki. Titania doesn’t need Nikki, instead. Titania exists just for her. It’s Titania’s all-time show. So she’ll create chaos, chaos, chaos, and pettiness wherever she can.”

This mirrors comments Jamil previously made to ComicBook.com, calling for Titania to be “messy and despicable” with this team, as well as Deadpool.

“I want to drive Deadpool crazy,” Jamil explained. “I love Ryan Reynolds, I love Deadpool so much. There’s so much to the MCU. Thunderbolts, there are so many places Titania could be in the MCU, because it’s so messy and vile. I resented most of the MCU. Spider-Man, Thor… She has enemies everywhere. They look like me in real life.”

The confirmed roster of Thunderbolts also includes Yelena Belova (Florence Pugh), Ava Star/Ghost (Hannah Jon Kamen), John Walker/U.S. Agent (White Russell), and Antonia Drikov/Taskmaster (Olga Kurylenko), with everyone leading by Valentina Allegra De Fontaine (Julia Louis-Dreyfus).
