New Hocus Pocus 2 Poster Launched

With the long-awaited version of hocus pocus 2 On the horizon, Disney+ has released an all-new poster to celebrate the sequel, which highlights the “glorious” return of the Sanderson sisters. As confirmed in the run-up to the sequel’s release, rather than simply being a rematch between the trio of wizards and the original heroes from the 1993 film, the wizards have their sights set on new victims when they return to Salem. Check out the new scary poster of hocus pocus 2 Below is before the movie arrives at Disney+ on Friday, October 30.

β€œThe Sanderson Sisters are evilly returning to Heaven,” said the official hocus pocus 2 The account commented on the tweet that first appeared on the poster.

The new movie is described, “It’s been 29 years since someone lit a black-flame candle and resurrected 17th century sisters who were executed for practicing witchcraft, as they seek revenge. Now it’s up to three high school students to figure out how to stop predatory witches from wreaking havoc. A new kind of havoc in Salem before midnight on All Hallow’s Eve.”

Original movie stars Bette Midler, Sarah Jessica Parker, and Kathy Najimy are all back for adventure, along with original star Doug Jones, who plays Billy Butcherson. This time, the Sanderson sisters target Becca (gossip girlWhitney Peak, Cassie (dirtLilia Buckingham), Izzy (american horror storiesBellisa Escobedo). Other newcomers to the franchise include Tony Hill, Sam Richardson, Hannah Waddingham, Jojo Brenner, Furry Jetters, Taylor Henderson, and Nina Kitchen.

While fans are understandably excited about the new movie, some are certainly disappointed that original stars Omri Katz, Vince Shaw and Tora Birch don’t appear in the sequel, with director Anne Fletcher previously detailing the challenge of integrating those characters while also trying to introduce the series to a new generation.

“We wanted to weave all the people that fans loved, and when you sit down with all the ingredients and the story, you’re like, ‘How do we make that work?” Fletcher explained to Entertainment Weekly. “It was very hard trying to get them to be a part of it, because we talked about it β€” so hard. You try to stay on track with the story, even if they come as an appearance.”

Fletcher added, “People were saying, ‘They could be in the background! And I love, really? You’re going to put the leaders of the first movie in the background and you’ll be satisfied? You won’t be satisfied, you’ll be angry.”

hocus pocus 2 Premieres on Disney+ on September 30th.
