Pirate wide receiver Mike Evans faces a lot of scrutiny over his fight with Marshawn Lattimore Saints, and local businesses respond.
Tampa Bay Buccaneers wide Mike Evans and Marshon Lattimore of the New Orleans Saints got into another fight on Sunday. Evans was sticking to the legendary linebacker and teammate Tom Brady’s oath, but was given a one-game suspension for his actions.
The NFL isn’t the only place I stop. A New Orleans grill went to extremes and banned Evans for life. They put a photo banner on their door with a red banner on Evans’ face, saying, “This is a La Mike Evans Foundation.”
Evans may not have expected much of the consequences from the moment his teammates returned, but it seems that he and Brady at least value each other through it all.

Evans initially started fighting with Lattimore due to a comment on Brady. He was then seen telling the judges, “This is Tom Brady, what do you want me to do?”
Brady talked about the situation in Let’s go! audio notationit is noted that he highly values Evans and that he believes his suspension in the NFL is “ridiculous”.
“At the end of the day, emotions are part of the sport. Sometimes they boil over, and they obviously did yesterday. It’s an unfortunate circumstance. I don’t think it deserves any kind of comment. I think that’s ridiculous. Hopefully we can get past it and move on to a better place.”
He then continued, “The fact that Mike would come out to defend me means everything in the world to me as a teammate and as a friend.”
Evans may have lost the respect of the New Orleans Natives, but it’s possible that he didn’t have much anyway given the extent of the rivalry between the Boss family and the Saints. He’s maintained the most important thing: respect for his teammates, especially Tom Brady, the Goats.
