Ozzy Osbourne admits to Black Sabbath reunion and regrets latest album | music | entertainment

Forming in Birmingham half a century ago, Black Sabbath performed what many fans thought was their last concert in their hometown in 2017. However, just last month Ozzy Osbourne and guitarist Tony Iommi performed at the closing show for the 2022 Commonwealth Games.

Ozzy, who hasn’t performed live for nearly three years due to persistent health issues, was hailed on stage with an Iron Man tune before singing Black Sabbath’s signature song Paranoid.

Bassist Geezer Butler – who performed at the 2017 Birmingham concert – wasn’t around nor was drummer Bill Ward, who had not been active in the band for a decade. However, is Black Sabbath really over? Ozzy has spoken himself.

Ozzy’s new solo album Patient Number 9 was released earlier this month, following the single and music video featuring Jeff Beck.

Meanwhile, The Prince of Darkness’ No More Tours II, which has been postponed due to the pandemic and the star’s ill health, is scheduled to resume in May 2023.

Ozzy will have six shows in the UK in May and June, starting with Nottingham on May 31 and Newcastle on June 2. Then in Glasgow on June 4, Manchester on June 7, and the O2 Arena in London on June 12. A possible final concert will be on June 14 in Birmingham again at Resorts World Arena.
