She-Hulk Just Name dropped a mysterious villain in the ’90s

Marvel Studios has done some amazing things with their Disney+ series and that hasn’t changed with the release of She-Hulk: Attorney at Law. The series recently went through some controversy over how the titular character’s visual effects came to be. As the series approaches its premiere, people behind the scenes have spoken out about fans’ outrage. During TCA’s, Jessica Gao, Kat Coiro, and Tatiana Maslany revealed how they felt about the CGI fiasco.

“In terms of criticism of CGI, I think that has something to do with our culture’s belief in its ownership of women’s bodies,” Cuero said. “I think a lot of the criticism comes from feeling like they can shred a CGI woman. There’s a lot of talk about her body type and we’ve based that on Olympic athletes and not bodybuilders. But I think if we had it the other way around, we’d have the same criticism.
