WWE’s Triple H Reveals When The Undertaker’s Ear Was Almost Ripped By Stone Cold Steve Austin

Triple H has been around for some of the biggest moments in WWE history and has been in the ring with some of WWE’s biggest stars as well, so there’s probably all kinds of behind-the-scenes stories he hasn’t shared yet. One of these stories was revealed during a new interview with sports bible, where he talks about the time Undertaker’s ear was clipped off by Stone Cold Steve Austin’s shoe causing Undertaker’s ear to get stuck. Triple H had to squeeze his ear so they could go home and take him to a plastic surgeon, which led to a very long but memorable trip to the States.

“The Undertaker opened his ear through Steve’s knee brace and we had to board the plane immediately after the event. As I remember, we came in our gear and changed at the airport. We came on a plane we rode back to the States we were still in our gear and when we got to the airport we went To the dressing room and we changed it—and Tucker’s ear was hanging.”

“We had a plastic surgeon he was going to meet in the States, and I stood the longest time on a chair behind him and put pressure on his head and ear because once you get up there, the pressure will make you bleed like a stuck pig. So I stood behind him for the longest time to put pressure on his ear to try to stop the bleeding as we got home “.

Triple H has been very busy since taking over the WWE Creative and has given his views on many hot topics in the wrestling world. That includes the subject of blood, something AEW isn’t ashamed of and something WWE didn’t use to evade. These days, blood isn’t something we often watch on WWE TV, and in an interview with The Ringer, Triple H made his stand on it clear.

“The world has changed. The world has evolved. I don’t think this is necessary,” Levesque said. “If we have talent he gets it [cut open]You’ll usually see them brought up and they’ll be looked at to make sure there’s nothing dangerous. I’m just out of my mind at the moment, given the state of the world and the pandemic, at the end of the day, what we’re doing is dangerous enough without intentionally making it more dangerous. yes we did [feature bleeding] For a long period of time, but we changed this practice. It is irresponsible to return.”

“Look, when you have men and women performing at the highest levels, I feel like I spend more time talking about them through things than I do. [talking them into something], “Added later.” You’ve done this for years, and while you’re sitting behind that TV screen, watching this go down, you’re holding your breath the entirety of the show. I feel there is always a risk to reward ratio. Is it so big that people will walk away from this with that vision implanted in their minds and will never forget it? Because if you’re risking your health and longevity in your profession, in that moment, during that moment, it should be worth it. So I’ve talked to people about doing things because sometimes I’m like, ‘Look, be honest; it’s just slick.’
