Law & Order Crossover premiere features heartbreaking death

Tonight’s Law & Order premiere took place on Earth from the start with tense moments and thrilling action, but it also saw a heartbreaking death. Spoilers are coming for tonight’s Law & Order SVU segment of Law & Order Intersection, so if you want to continue without spoiling, you’ve been warned. The death struck Elliot Stabler especially, since it was his informant Vince who successfully infiltrated the crew of Maxim Sirenko. Sirenko shot Vince multiple times, and while he survived long enough for Stabler to get to him, he did not ultimately survive the attack.

Stabler, Olivia Benson and Frank Cosgrove along with the rest of their teams watch the block and watch Vince meet with Sirenko. A black car went up the alley, then Serenko got out of the truck and Vince said it was hard to find. Sirenko said it was too hot to talk here and so Vince walked into the building, and Stabler said that building was not secured.

Sirenko drove Vince into the elevator and they headed downstairs, which is when Sirenko asked what the police had said to Vince. Vince told him they thought he was involved and said the bomb was made by him. Vince said they saw him in security footage at Sirenko’s club and questioned him, and it appears Sirenko is not sold at this point.

When they head into the building, the signal from Vince’s camera breaks and the feed cuts off as the sound does, then the feed is scanned long enough for Jet to see them talking. Vince noticed that a hole had been dug in the ground and began to feel nervous. Jet relayed the information to Stabler and said she was hit and they had to move.

Everyone gathered at the scene and got latch breakers to cut the chains from the door and head downstairs. Vince was running away from Sirenko’s bodyguard who was shooting at him, but Sirenko met him and they started a fight in the elevator. Stabler heard gunshots and then went down to the other floor and found Sirenko dodging. Stabler followed but continued to move away after more shots were fired.

Then Vince crawled out of the elevator and was injured several times. Stabler told him he would be fine and got called on a bus. Stabler said he would be fine and told him to breathe, Vince said he didn’t want to die and then told Stabler he was a bad liar. Vince grabbed Stabler’s collar and then started fading away, dying before the ambulance came. Cosgrove and Benson arrived but he’s already dead. Later when Stabler left the scene, he was having a rough time, telling Vince “He was just a kid. He was just a kid.”
