Braves blame no one but themselves for the troubles of Ronald Acuña Jr.

The Atlanta Braves are slowly crumbling towards the end of the season, and they just lost one of their best players in the squad.

The Atlanta Braves are slowly collapsing as the season draws to a close, and they just lost one of their best players to injury. Slugger Ronald Acuña Jr. will be absent. the squad for the third game in a row, and the Braves take the blame for bringing him back before he fully recovered.

Acuña is rehabilitating a slew of injuries this season, most recently with injuries to the back and others including the knee, lower body, foot and quad. Because of this, he has performed poorly this season and has stated that he plans to “play through the pain” to help his team in the final phase of the season.

Acuña tore up the AFC Champions League in 2021 and missed the latter half of the season, so it’s possible that his recent issues are related to that.

The Braves have done fairly well, trailing the New York Mets in the NL East standings by just 2.5 games, and are fighting hard for success in the post-season. They have talent, but it is crumbling before their eyes. Many of their key players are not doing well, which can cause them to lose their potential.

The Braves may have sabotaged their post-season success with a tackle on Ronald Acuna Jr.

The world champions are almost guaranteed a place in the playoffs. according to FangravesThere is a 100 percent chance that they can make it happen. However, they may not be able to take the top spot in the NL East at the end of the regular season with many players performing below par and not in full health.

Aside from Acuña, Matt Olson also underperformed. He had a lot of pressure to do a good job considering he’s a replacement for Freddy Freeman. It’s unfortunately going through flop season, scoring .233/.319/.451 in an OPS of .770. He has an alarmingly high strike ratio of 24.1.

Spencer Strider, one of Atlanta’s top novice shooters, is now also on the hit list and misses the rest of the regular season. There are a few other reliable and talented shooters out there, but the team’s overall spot isn’t ideal for a playoff entry.

The brave could have at least avoided Acuña’s absence so far, but he returned prematurely.
