The Seven Deadly Sins wrapped its main series some time ago, and now, it looks like the franchise is keeping an eye on the future. As the manga sets out to explore a new generation of heroes, the anime prepares to do the same in its own time. After all, The Seven Deadly Sins: Grudge of Edinburgh is on the horizon, and we’ve got a new batch of posters and a trailer ahead of its launch.
The update comes directly from Netflix after the recent TADUM event. Fans have gotten a fresh look at the return of The Seven Deadly Sins, and its two-part movie looks pretty good judging by its new trailer.

As you can see above, the CG trailer shows The Seven Deadly Sins in a whole new light, and we have a new hero of reigns here. The sequel will follow Tristan, son of Meliodas and Elizabeth. Directed by Bob Shirohata, this film will explore Tristan’s new healing powers as he battles between his mother’s angelic gifts and his father’s demonic legacy. To harness his power, Tristan will go on a trip to Edinburgh Castle with new allies, but not every traveler he meets along the way will want to work with the royal heir.

As you can tell, The Seven Deadly Sins will have a lot to do with its sequel when it falls, and the two-part movie will hit Netflix before long. The story splits in two and will follow Tristan, the son of the heroes of the Seven Deadly Sins Meliodas and Elizabeth. To protect his family, Tristan heads out to Edinburgh Castle and meets a group of new friends along the way.”
