When it comes to the Marvel Cinematic Universe, every project is highly anticipated, but like the series shows on Disney+ go, it’s the second season of loki Which fans might be looking forward to. The series’ first season ends with Time Contrast Authority – TVA – in shambles after Sylvie (Sofia DiMartino) and Loki (Tom Hiddleston) search for answers destroys the sacred timeline and kills the one who remains. Now, while fans wait a bit to see what’s next, Hiddleston is teasing a little about what fans can expect, particularly “Battle for TVA’s Soul”.
talk with Entertainment Weekly (Across direct), Hiddleston said that the battle for the soul of TVA is very central to the series’ second season after all that happened in season one.
“Season 2 is a challenge kind of question asked of TVA itself, a battle for the soul of TVA,” Hiddleston said.
The series synopsis also reflects this sentiment: “Season 2 captures in the aftermath of the season’s shocking finale who finds himself in a battle for the spirit of the time-disparity power.”
From the stars in the second season of loki?
As for all that that battle entails, that’s what fans will have to wait patiently with Season 2 not ready to return until next summer, but there will be some new faces as well as familiar faces coming for Season 2. Owen Wilson, Gogo Mbatha-Raw, Sophia Di Martino, Wunmi Mosaku, and Tom Hiddleston return for the second season of loki. Eugene Cordero has been upgraded to Series Regular. Rafael Casal has been chosen for a second season and it was announced at D23 Expo earlier this month that Ke Huy Quan will join the cast as well. Oh, and yes, Tara Strong will be back as Miss Minutes.
“It was so much fun,” Strong previously said. ComicBook.com for Miss Minutes. “I didn’t even know what it was when I was auditioning. I didn’t know it was loki. I didn’t know who Miss Mints really was. Usually, when you have an audition for a show, they’ll give you a sketch, they’ll give you a character description, and sometimes they’ll give you a written demonstration of what the world is like. You may even get a full text. I didn’t have any of these things. I had a very brief description and aspects only, a small part of the test script with it. I remember calling my agent saying, “Who is this? Can we get more information? Is she conscious? Is it AI? Can we get anything else?” And they couldn’t. I didn’t know what it was until I booked it, and of course I was super excited.”
