Picross S8 release date revealed for Nintendo Switch

Fans of the Picross S series will be happy to know that a new entry in the series is slated to release on the Nintendo Switch very soon! As its name suggests, Picross S8 It’s the eighth in Jupiter’s nonogram series of games for Switch, and it’s set to hit console on September 29. Nintendo revealed this information along with a new trailer for the game, which outlines some of the features fans can expect. Altogether, the game will include 300 picros and mega picros puzzles, 30 colorful picros puzzles, 150 piece picros puzzles, and more.

Fans of previous Picross S games on Switch will be happy to know that the latest game will contain additional content for those with saved data from previous titles. From the start, players will find two great Picross puzzles in the additional content section of the game, and players who have saved data from Picross S4And the Picross S5And the Picross S6 It will automatically unlock additional puzzles as a result. The game will also offer multiplayer options and support for the touch screen of the Switch console.

The trailer notices that Picross S8 It will be available exclusively as a digital title, which may come as a slight disappointment for some Switch fans. In an era where companies like Xbox and PlayStation offer all digital options, Nintendo has turned to physical game releases in a big way. In fact, a day after the release Picross S8Switch owners will have the opportunity to purchase the original copy Bayonetta On the Nintendo Switch in a physical format for the first time. The game was previously made available digitally, but a physical version is being offered shortly before the release of Bayonetta 3.
