Things are starting to heat up Dragon House. HBO acclaimed Game of thrones The prequel series spent its first five episodes building the foundation of the conflict within House Targaryen, focusing on the relationships between many of the main characters and setting the stage for how they might unravel in the future. Now, with Episode VI, that future has come. The leap has been made for 10 years Dragon HouseEpisode VI and this new timeline didn’t waste any time killing the main characters. One death in particular will have massive implications later in the story of House Targaryen.

At the end of Dragon HouseEpisode 5 of Rhaenyra Targaryen and Laenor Velaryon Married. Lenore’s sister, Laena, goes on to marry Daemon Targaryen, and episode six reveals that they have two children together, with a third on the way. Their marriage did not last during the episode, with Lana dying in the last minutes.
Lena had complications with the birth of her third child, and as we saw in the first episode of the show, the chance of mother and baby surviving from this kind of scenario is very slim. Lana chooses to take matters into her own hands and ends her life on her terms, sitting in front of her dragon and giving the command “dracarys”. After some hesitation, the dragon finally obeys and burns his master alive.
This death has major repercussions for the Targaryens, leaving Satan without a wife. Like those who have read George RR Martin fire and blood You know, Damon eventually marries, and this union changes the course of history for the entire house.
Who marries the devil?
in fire and blooddetailing the history of the Targaryens, Daemon eventually married his niece, Rhaenyra, heir to the Iron Throne. Dragon House Obviously, he could go a different path with the story, but the significance and repercussions of this event make it seem like something won’t change. Besides, the seeds of this union have already been sown in the show, as Daemon previously tried to marry Rhaenyra.
However, Laenor Velaryon is still alive on the show, so he will need to die before Rhaenyra and Daemon find their way to each other. Based on what we’ve seen so far, Daemon isn’t letting go of things himself.
