The House of the Dragon introduced the new villains who will change Westeros forever

The long-awaited time jumps Dragon House It brought some new characters into the mix. The sixth episode of HBO’s Game of thrones “The Princess and the Queen” movie prequel saw the story leap 10 years into the future. While many of the core characters remained the same, the jump in time allowed several young characters to join the action. Rhaenyra and Alicent both have children who are getting older, and they will play a very important role on the show.

Aliscent’s first boys were born early in the series, but they were very young. However, Rhaenyra did not have children until the sixth episode. The episode began when Reinera gave birth to her third son, Joffrey, whom Lenore named after his late friend (and secret lover). The couple had two older sons – Jacaerys and Lucerys – during the time jump. However, it is strongly suggested throughout the episode that the kids don’t actually belong to Lenore.

Rhaenyra and Laenor arranged before their wedding that they could continue to see the people they wanted, as long as they could have children and have heirs. Lenore, a gay man, could continue to see men, while Rainera could spend private time with whomever she wanted. It turns out that she spent a lot of time with Ser Harwin Strong.

Rainera’s three sons don’t look like Lenore. In fact, they all have brown hair, just like Harwin. All those close to Rhaenyra believe they are Harwin’s sons, although apparently Rhaenyra has not admitted this. Even Lenore joked that the kids weren’t really his.

The bloodline of these kids will likely play a major role later in the show. Rhinera is the heir to the Iron Throne. However, Aliscent’s children actually belong to her and Viserys. The Queen clearly believes that her children should eventually take the throne, and any confirmation of Rhinera’s relationship would jeopardize her entire streak.

As tensions rise between Rhaenyra and Alicent, issues will also arise between their children. Sunday’s episode showed the beginnings of those issues, with Emond being the one most upset about the presence of the Rhinera boys. Aegon, Aliscent’s eldest son, doesn’t seem to care. That will eventually change.

With Harwin dying at the end of the episode, it is likely that no one will be able to prove that the children of Rhinera do not belong to Lenore.
