New York — Stars Bette Midler, Sarah Jessica Parker and Kathy Najimi cast a spell on the red carpet at the “Hocus Pocus 2” premiere Tuesday night in Manhattan.
This is a sequel to the original released in 1993.
It’s up to three high school students to stop the witches from causing trouble.
Actress and New Yorker Sarah Jessica Parker said returning to the red carpet is a sign that things are starting to return to how they were before the coronavirus pandemic.
“I hope so, I feel it’s nascent, the city as we’ve known it. I think we’re a bit far from what used to be very comfortable in our lives, but we are intrepid and resilient people, New Yorkers, and we love our city, so you do your best to come close to being a healthy city in all neighborhoods” Parker said.
“Hocus Pocus 2” premieres Friday on Disney Plus.
Disney is the parent company of WABC-TV.
