One Piece is gearing up for the first major arc of the series’ final saga overall, and the latest chapter in the series has sowed the seeds for Luffy and the Straw Hat crew’s major journey! Now that the Wano Country arc is officially wrapped, fans are receiving major updates on how the rest of the seas have changed while Luffy and the others are on the isolated island. Things are getting even more intense as they make their way to the next island on their journey, and it already looks like things aren’t going to slow down any time soon.
Previous seasons have seen Luffy and the others take a particularly difficult part of the seas as they make their way to their next destination on the island, and after getting caught in very bad weather, the new chapter of the series has given fans their first chance. Not only have they come to their next island called Egghead, but this next leg of the journey also includes some key characters like fellow Worst Generation Jewelry Bonney and even Dr. Vegapunk.
Chapter 1061 of piece Captured after Luffy and the others get separated when they are attacked by a large mechanical shark, Jimbei, Luffy and Chopper end up in a different location on the new island when they rescue Jewelry Bonney. She explains that the island they land on is Egghead, with Dr. Vegapunk’s lab seemingly to be with technology 500 years in the future. Thus it is an island owned by the World Government and most importantly, Dr. Vejapunk is working in the area as well.
Finally, he appears in the series long after it was first hinted at, Dr. Vejapunk saves the other Straw Hats from being eaten by mechanical sharks (with their giant robotic bot) and now it’s just a question of what happens next. This is the origin of a lot of Marines technology, and now the straw hats are front and center. There is just a matter of knowing where that arc will go, or how long it will last as the series goes on.
