Take a lot of fall to the next level with pumpkin spice trash bags

We’re in the depths of pumpkin spice season right now, and for fans of the lovable fall powerhouse flavor, there are desserts in just about every category imaginable that one can partake in in order to enjoy what is arguably the most down-to-earth of them all. But now Hefty—yes, a trash bag brand—has come up with something that takes pumpkin spice to a whole different, productive level: trash. Literally. On Tuesday, Hefty announced new, limited-edition Cinnamon Pumpkin Spice Ultra Strong Trash Bags.

Yes, you read that completely correctly. Pumpkin spice trash bags are a thing now, and if you think about it, it kind of makes sense. Pumpkin spice is everywhere. We have lattes, snacks, cakes, ice cream, even candles and beer. Why can’t litter where a sweet smell can make a generally unpleasant situation sweeter?

“At this point, pumpkin spice is a cultural phenomenon,” said Colin Peters, M.D., “At this point, pumpkin spice is a cultural phenomenon. We wanted to combine that endearing scent with the strength, odor control, and reliability consumers know and love from Hefty for a truly fun and unexpected fall presentation.” Brand Manager at Reynolds Consumer Products. “These limited-width trash bags will allow pumpkin lovers everywhere to enjoy the fall scent they love, while Hefty’s odor control technology will keep their homes clean.”

The release of the Cinnamon Pumpkin Spice Ultra Strong trash bags comes just in time for National Pumpkin Spice Day, but there are some difficulties as this isn’t a product that won’t be available in stores. Instead, fans will have to head to HeftyPumpkinSpice.com On September 30 at 9 a.m. local time they can buy bags for $5.95 while supplies last – and they’re expected to sell out quickly.
