The third season of the Iron Fist series was the most popular sitcom

Like any other Marvel series that streamed on Netflix, iron fist It was unofficially canceled once Disney began developing its own streaming service. While some shows in that corner of the Marvel universe had a chance to finish their stories, others were cut short in the midst of storylines just starting to emerge. Case in point, the second season of iron fist It was largely seen as a reset, something to change audiences’ views after their first disastrous outing.

For this reason, those behind the series wrote the second season as if it were going to carry over to the third season. Unfortunately for fans of the show, it was taken off for a while, as it was about to adapt the most popular sitcom in Living Weapon.

“I love Danny Rand. I love that character. I love everything about him. I think he’s a gem, and so did he [showrunner Raven Metzner] like that. And we were really just watching and exploring together the possibilities of what we could create with this character,” Finn Jones tells us about the possibilities for Season 3.

“And season two was all about course correction. It was like, ‘How can we just change course and talk about this show, and bring it to a place we can be proud of,'” he adds. “And then we can take the show in the direction we really want to.”

That was when Jones said that Season 3 was going to feature Rand Ward Mitchum (Tom Belfry) in a world-wide adventure that would tie in with the Orson Randall stories in immortal iron fist source material.

“Raven especially wanted to see Danny Ward in faraway lands fighting crime and having guns and Orson Randall and that kind of character,” Jones continues. “And then Colin’s going to be in New York with the iron fist, sort of dealing with that responsibility. And then eventually, I think the course of that season, they’re going to find each other again and become whole. Yeah, there were a lot of interesting ways we could have Go ahead with this offer.”
