Apex Legends Update 2.06 Sep 29 patch notes

We’re still waiting for Respawn Entertainment to officially confirm the fixes that are included in today’s Apex Legends update, but thanks to the game Trello . boardWe have a pretty good idea of what to expect. The following issues are currently categorized as “coming in a future patch”:

  • Incorrectly displaying the logo for players in the “Novice” rating when they are not.
  • Players in certain ranks do not receive the correct ranked rewards for certain seasons.
  • Players get stuck when reconnecting to the game. [Nintendo Switch Only]

Respawn Entertainment took to Twitter last week to say it’s aware that PlayStation 5 players are experiencing glitches with the new Gun Run game mode. The developers are said to be working on a fix, which is expected to be included in today’s patch, as the mode will only be around for another week.

Issues surrounding Gun Run mode require Respawn to disable the Bound in Bone and Dragon’s Spine Devotion skins on all platforms. This was used as a temporary fix to prevent PlayStation 5 users from experiencing crashes and according to Thordan Smashwill probably get it fixed properly today with skins back on all platforms.

Be sure to check back soon as we’ll update this article with official details from Respawn as soon as they’re shared.
