Some pairs are perfect, among them coffee and cocktails and for decades – since 1936 in fact – Kahlúa coffee drinks have been combining the flavors of rum and coffee in some of the world’s most famous cocktails. Now, Coffee Mate takes the iconic taste and brings it from the after-dinner enjoyment to your morning cup of joe. Coffee mate announced their new non-alcoholic coffee mate Kahlúa & Crème Flavored Creamer, a dream range heading to store shelves this January.
According to Coffee Mate, the new bleacher is inspired by the Kahlúa coffee drink and features notes of sweet cream, dark rum and rich, roasted coffee. Pairing a coffee mate with Kahlúa in this new offering looks a lot like the perfect fit, considering that both coffee mate and Kahlúa have a very similar fan base – making this a new twist on an already perfect pairing.
“Coffee Mate and Kahla are two popular brands with similar fan bases, so collaborating together to create this cream was a no-brainer,” Leonardo Aisborough, Senior Director of Brand Marketing at Nestlé and Head of Creamer Business, said in a statement. “We knew without a doubt this was going to be a collaboration and decadent flavor that people would love—we’re excited to bring it to the cream aisle and take our fan coffee routine to the next level!”
The new Coffee mate Non-Alcoholic Kahlúa & Crème Flavored Creamer will hit store shelves in January and will be available in a 32-ounce bottle at a suggested retail price of $4.39. This is just the latest new flavor announced by Coffee Mate. Earlier this year, the brand announced the launch of Toll House Brown Butter Chocolate Chip Cookie Flavored Creamer in collaboration with Toll House for a seasonal flavor after last year’s Cookies ‘n Cocoa. The brand has also brought back some beloved seasonal favorites, Coffee mate Pumpkin Spice Flavored Creamer and Coffee mate Peppermint Mocha Flavored Creamer. Both types also come in a sugar-free variety. The brand also announced the release of two new vegan creamer creamers set to hit store shelves in January, the new Almond and Oat Whiteners in two flavors, French Vanilla and Caramel.
