The scary season is upon us, which is what new movies and shows to watch this weekend NetflixAnd the Disney Plusand Hulu and other streaming services.
Leading this weekend’s lineup are two completely different types of Halloween-adjacent titles. Anne Rice’s Interview with the Vampire is a reboot of the dark gothic tale memorably adapted into a now classic movie. On the other end of the spectrum, hocus pocus 2 Bring back the trio of witches for another not-so-scary party.
On the TV side, the new series Reasonable Doubt contains a major scandal and how to get away with murderous feelings. Several returning shows are premiering, including The Walking Dead Season 11 Part 3, Ramier Season 3 and Ghosts Season Two.
For a movie night, enjoy the spirited war adventure The Greatest Beer Run Ever or the steamy Marilyn Monroe movie.
Here’s our guide on what to watch this weekend.
Anne Rice Interview with the Vampire (AMC)
New editions are really that rage Autumn TV seasonthe second is a reimagining of Interview with a Vampire, based on the Gothic novels by Anne Rice (memorably adapted into the 1994 film starring Brad Pitt and Tom Cruise).
Some details have been modified and updated. This interview is for a podcast, protagonist Louis de Points du Lac is a black man, played by Game of Thrones alum Jacob Anderson. Hawkeye Box 2 (Disney Plus)
The Sanderson Witches Return! And it only took close to 30 years this time, not 300. A sequel to the 1993 comedy/horror film Hocus Pocus feels completely superfluous but is also totally welcome by big fans (who will likely have teens). Bette Midler, Sarah Jessica Parker, and Kathy Najimy seem to enjoy a comeback as the sisters who terrorized girls first in Salem in 1693, and then again in 1993.
In modern times, it reappears when a black flame candle is lit by unsuspecting high school students. They must work together to stop the witches before they cause complete chaos. Verify Hocus Pocus 2 Review Let’s see our verdict free of spoiler.

Blonde (Netflix)
A fictional story about the life of Marilyn Monroe (played by Ana de Armas), Blonde It is a reimagining that follows Norma Jeane Morrison from childhood to international fame as a movie star to her potential suicide from an overdose at age 36. The film, apparently the first NC-17 release from Netflix, will address the stark contrast between her seemingly happy looks, sexism, exploitation and abuse. and drug addiction that you encountered off screen.
Aside from de Armas, the cast includes Bobby Cannavale as “Former Athlete” Joe Dimaggio; Adrien Brody as “playwright” Arthur Miller; Caspar Phillipson as “The President” John F. Kennedy.

reasonable doubt (hulu)
If Reasonable Doubt has a strong feeling for Shonda Rhimes-y, it’s because it was created by Scandal writer Raamla Mohamed and produced by Kerry Washington, who also directs the first episode. Just like another Rhimes-produced show, How to Get Away With Murder, the new series combines legal drama with romance, full of vividness and mystery.
Jax Stewart (Emayatzy Corinealdi) is a defense attorney at a reputable Los Angeles law firm. When we met her, she was tied with a gun pointed at her. Then, it’s six months back before he slowly reveals how she ended up there. In the weeks that follow, she deals with various issues and her chaotic love life.

The Greatest Beer Run Ever (Apple TV Plus)

The Walking Dead Season 11 Part 3 (AMC)
The Walking Dead’s farewell tour has finally come to an end. The final installment of Season 11 will conclude the zombie saga that has become a popular culture phenomenon. But like the pedestrians themselves, the show will go on – in the form of spin-offs.
In the third installment of the final season, our group of survivors who never died fight for their lives and their place in the Commonwealth. Eugene (Josh McDermitt) is on trial, most likely for his role in exposing the outrageous behavior of Governor Pamela Melton (Lily Robbins) and her son. Archer Season 3 (Hulu)
Ramy Youssef Al-Fakhri’s character faces a crisis of faith in the third season. He is in a dark place after betraying his intended bride with his cousin the night before the wedding. It’s just a big moral mess. As Youssef previously said, Rami is “really well-intentioned…but he has to realize that this is not enough.”
His spiritual debt is offset by financial debts of up to $100,000. Rami has a lot of work to settle for both. Season 3 introduces Bella Hadid as the “eccentric girlfriend” of Ramy Steve’s boyfriend. Mahershala Ali returns as Sheikh Ali Malik, who won’t hold back from giving Ramy a piece of his mind.

The Mighty Ducks: Game Changers Season 2 (Disney Plus)
Emilio Estevez’s departure from The Mighty Ducks: Game Changers (reportedly due to the COVID vaccine mandate) has left a pretty big hole in the sequel series. He was the main focal point of the films, far from the premise of a solid team of young hockey players. But the show must go on.
To this end, Alex Morrow has stepped up from Lauren Graham as a duck trainer. She takes the team to a summer hockey institute run by former NHL player Colin Cole (Josh Duhamel). There, they can learn additional skills and improve their gameplay. But staying in the highly competitive camp can be as difficult as winning a championship.

They host their first guests and recruit ghosts to help them get a good rating from the highly critical couple.
