Thursday Night Football analyst Ryan Fitzpatrick was emotional when he spoke about the injury of his former Miami Dolphins teammate Tua Tagovailoa.

Instead, it was the health of midfielder Tua Tagovailoa, who left the game after suffering head and neck injuries after suffering a major blow. During the halftime show on Amazon Prime, analyst Ryan Fizpatrick was emotional when discussing the injury of Tagovailoa, who was his former Dolphins teammate in 2020.
“We’ve all played football a lot, but this is one of the hardest scenes I think I’ve ever seen,” Fitzpatrick said. “For him, as a brother, was going to spend a few hours with him last night, he’s as happy as I’ve ever seen him. To see him do that, he gets knocked out, lame, whatever, and you can feel that not just with the fans, but both teams. That was it. A scary sight. As a player, you have to move on, you have to play the game. As a broadcaster and analyst, I’m having a hard time now.”

When Tagovailoa was drafted by Dolphins with the fifth overall pick in the 2020 NFL Draft, he was in the same quarterback room as Fitzpatrick. The duo split into one season together.
Dolphin released a statement after the injury, announcing that he was conscious and had movement in all of his limbs. NFL Network’s Cameron Wolff tweeted That Tagovailoa was transferred to the University of Cincinnati Medical Center, which also includes a trauma center.
This injury occurred four days after the NFLPA began an investigation into Tagovailoa’s examination of concussion during the team’s Week 3 game against the Buffalo Bills. Tagoviloa stumbled trying to get up after being brought to the ground, but the madness returns to the second half. Tagoviloa and the team said it was due to a back injury.
