She-Hulk’s Tim Roth reveals his favorite character from Blonsky’s Wellness Retreat

The seventh episode of the program She-Hulk: Attorney at Law, “The Retreat,” watched Jennifer Walters/She-Hulk (Tatiana Maslany) pay a visit to Emil Blonsky/Abomination’s (Tim Roth’s) spa for villains looking to improve themselves. Earlier in the season, Jane defended Blonksy at his parole hearing, and he was released from prison. While still being monitored, Blonsky is now living his best life running the resort with his seven soulmates. In a new interview with Marvel.comIn the latest episode, the cast and crew talk about reviving Blonsky’s retreat, and Ruth revealed that Saracen, the vampire played by Terrence Clowe, is his favourite.

“You always have to be wary of him because you never knew where he was going to be…I loved him. I loved that guy,” said Ruth. “I think viewers will be completely surprised by the population [the therapy circle]. It’s wild… They all have created their own little universe, and they all interact brilliantly. And they were so funny! At times, it was very difficult to maintain a straight face. Maybe I didn’t. But, you know, it was a talent festival. Beautiful, beautiful, beautiful people.”

ComicBook.com He recently had a chance to chat with Ruth about his long-awaited return to the MCU, and he quipped that Emil might not really be fixed.

“I think the concept is that he’s been in isolation in a high-security prison system, where you can contain a monster for a very long time,” Roth explained. “So what has become of it and the dance you’ve been doing, which I find… I just thought, and it’s their idea, which is, ‘Who is this guy?’ “And he seems to have changed through the story. And I don’t know what, because I didn’t see it. So I don’t know what they kept and what, because we improvised a lot and played, but has he changed? We’ll see.”
