When asked about it, Najimi said her mouth muscles didn’t allow her to do it the same way this time. It makes perfect sense, it’s been 30 years since the first movie. But, some fans may be wondering about these details. (Hocus Pocus 2 is a big nostalgia watch that’s trending on Halloween for this very reason.) “It’s on the other side mainly because it’s so hard for me to do that on the side that I did 30 years ago. I’m sure fans will go into deep detail about why it’s on the other side,” said my star exposed. “It’s just something I came up with in the first week. This is great comedy, so you don’t have to be subtle or have a 40-page Shakespearean background.”
She added, “We can justify that because there’s a scene at first where Winnie slaps me, my mouth goes to the other side, and then she slaps me again and he goes to the other side and gets stuck.”

In another interview with EW, Middler expressed interest in another job hocus pocus. She totally envy the other stars who make 3 or more movies as their favorite characters.
“I envy the other actors who have franchises, and I was hoping to get a sequel to it First Wives ClubBut we never got that. The fact that we were finally able to do it, after 30 years of pitching the idea, I’m glad we did. “I like to have a franchise — especially a character that I love to play,” Midler said.
