The Marvel Cinematic Universe has made itself a fan favorite for a number of reasons, but what many fans really enjoyed during The Infinity Saga were the off-camera interactions between the main Avengers cast. Sure, it was always exciting to have a new movie released, but the accompanying press events were just as entertaining. During those interviews, the actors were reflecting on their experiences making the said project and throwing some hilarious punches at each other. It’s been a while since we’ve seen the dynamic among the six OGs, although Chris Hemsworth reminded us of it with a nice throwback. And funny enough, the post apparently got him thinking about some kind of reunion.

Ah, memories. It’s hard to believe that it’s already been three years since these four, along with Scarlett Johansson and Jeremy Renner, shared the screen together and embarked on a world press tour. They definitely had some great times together and did some fun things, from turning Infinity War into a bedtime story to playing it in their spare time. I don’t know about all of you, but I really miss them both.
Chris Hemsworth’s retweet is nice enough, but it’s hard not to pay attention to his caption. I mean, is it time to get the band back together? To be honest, the chances of such a thing happening in an MCU production are pretty slim at this point. While Hemsworth’s Thor and Mark Ruffalo’s Bruce Banner are still in the fold, Robert Downey Jr’s Tony Stark sacrifices himself at the end of the day. Avengers: Endgame. Old Steve Rogers handed Chris Evans Captain America’s Mantle by Sam Wilson Anthony Mackie. However, I think anything is possible in the MCU, especially if the multiverse is involved.
Of course, on the other hand, the stars can meet again in a project that has nothing to do with the MCU. I honestly wouldn’t mind seeing them all get together in a comedy that sees a group of best friends meet for the first time in years. This might look kind of on the nose, but it can be fun nonetheless. And again, no potential encounter has to be related to a production of any kind. The Avengers Alumni can simply take a joint vacation — and maybe share some photos on social media so the rest of us can flock.
I hope Chris Hemsworth gets in touch with his buddies sometime in the near future, regardless of whether it happens in any way. Upcoming Marvel Movies.
