Albert reportedly hit a curb, went into the air, and landed on the teen’s car. Representatives say Albert was high in marijuana at the time of the accident.

Blitz was hospitalized with a fractured skull and brain swelling, which led to her death in the same month.

The Blitz family was deeply saddened by the news that their beloved daughter would not survive.

“This has destroyed our family. Our family will never be the same after this tragedy,” said Rudi Blitz, Jackie’s father.

Jackie aspired to become a pediatrician and was a volunteer at Texas Children’s Hospital, according to her family.
