Google releases Pixel Collection design video ahead of October 6th event

Before the release of the Pixel 7 and Pixel 7 Pro, Google was teasing the world with carefully crafted videos, giving us a closer look at the hardware in store for the Made by Google event. This time around, Google is bringing the entire Pixel family into the mix, introducing a video showing the design of its entire range.

The video is a mix of products, showing the Pixel 7, Pixel 7 Pro, Pixel Watch, and Pixel Buds Pro. For the Pixel 7 devices, we’ll see the Pixel 7’s exclusive Lemongrass color scheme and the Pixel 7 Pro’s exclusive Hazel variant. Plus, we’re dealing with extreme close-ups of the phone’s camera masks, the polished bezel and digital crown of the Pixel Watch. Google also gives us two photos of the Pixel Buds Pro, along with an X-ray view of its interior. Although the video is short, it gives fans plenty to watch, and definitely builds anticipation.

While Google showed off almost everything about the phones, there are still some details about the Pixel 7 and Pixel 7 Pro that we know very little about. The Pixel series hasn’t been all about hardware, with Google’s added features through software that make it stand out among its peers. We hope there will be some interesting surprises for you to share at the Made by Google event on October 6. Fortunately, we know that Google will be placing pre-orders for the phones on the same day of the event. Although there are no official prices for the devices directly from Google, they should be compared to last year’s models. On top of that, there have been rumors and leaks that some premium promotional payouts will be included, so we can look forward to that if true.
