The trailer for next week’s episode shows Two Thrones without the natural bodies that occupy them. Otto Hightower is seen sitting on the Iron Throne, serving as a mouthpiece for King Viserys while he is away, although his whereabouts are never mentioned. We also see Rhaenys on the throne in Driftmark, and the voiceover reveals that Lord Corlys Velaryon, Sea Snake, suffered a “serious wound” while fighting at the Stepstones. This preview never shows Corlys’ injury, and we didn’t see him suffer said injury during Episode VII. So this is definitely a surprise, given how important he is as a character.
By not showing Corlys, however, Dragon House He leaves all possibilities on the table. This injury could be serious as suggested and cause the loss of his life. However, there is always the possibility that things won’t be so dire.
Is Corlys Velaryon Dead?
Corlys is said to have sustained a “serious” injury during the peek, but the details of that injury were never revealed. That could mean any number of things, and we probably won’t have a better idea until next week’s episode. Luckily, fire and blood Give us an idea of what could happen.
