Berserk has carved out a place for itself among the best manga series, and the franchise has been thriving all these years after its debut. Guts have captured millions through their journey no matter how bloody or traumatic it is. Of course, anime fans have embraced Berserk on their own terms as the series has prompted a number of modifications to be made. And now, the fandom is coming to life with the arrival of a mysterious countdown.
It all started when Berserk’s official website for The Golden Age – Memorial Edition published a new page. There has been a mysterious countdown timer shared, and the clock is ticking until December 11th. At the moment, there is no information on the topic of the countdown, but fans are all very happy to speculate.

After all, it’s no secret that fans have been begging for another berserk anime for years. The Golden Age Arc film trilogy was met with critical acclaim when it was launched in 2012. However, the same cannot be said for the 2016 TV animation. The show, which was adapted into the Arc of Contentment, was met with mixed reviews at best. And when the second season dropped in 2017, things didn’t go so well.

Now, it’s been five years since Berserk released any new anime, and fans are in desperate need of another mod. They were going to watch a series that transcends the Golden Age arc and tweaks the more recent parts of Guts’ Journey. Of course, fans also want this project to be handled by a studio capable of bringing Berserk to life in detail. So far, netizens are hoping that the anime announcement is what awaits them at the end of this countdown.
