WMr. “L Smith” appears to be back and Antoine Fuqua’s “Emancipation” which was shot before the infamous Oscar slap has had quite a few critics and the reviews were very good.

Smith attended the NAACP’s 51st Annual Legislative Conference of the Black Foundation last Saturday and he and director Antoine Fuqua spoke about the film.

The actor spoke about his attitude to slave films, why they never appealed to him to perform in those types of films, and stated that he did not see himself in the films that were offered to him, but with the film “Emancipation”. The story is different.
