Attack on Titan hardly needs an introduction these days. The action-packed series helped propel animation to the fore when its first season was launched, and has been a huge hit ever since. Now, the final installment of anime episodes is on the horizon, and all eyes are on Eren ahead of its release. So of course, the creator of Attack on Titan felt it was only right to release new art for his three big heroes.
The update comes from Hajime Isayama himself, so fans can thank the creator for the gift. As you can see below, a new piece of art has been revealed featuring Eren and his best friends. He clearly has a certain fandom.

The three friends are younger here as Eren leads Armin and Mikasa as they advance. The latter is wearing her dear red scarf, and it seems that Armin doesn’t care about the world. Honestly, it’s the most the trio has gone through in ages, and fans admit that it’s good to see even if it hurts at the same time.

After all, Attack on Titan knows how the story goes with these three friends. The anime sets up their final conflict as Eren lays out his plan for global genocide, and the only ones who can stop him are his best friends. The manga has already ended the conflict, and in true Attack on Titan style, it is furious to say the least. But even with that future in mind, Isayama’s throwback plot here shows how close Eren and his friends were before the Giant Giant changed their lives.
