Hasbro announces new Dungeon Head and Dragons

Hasbro has appointed Dan Rawson as the new Senior Vice President of Dungeons & Dragons Brand. Rawson has been announced as the new president of Dungeons & Dragons Franchise, he filled the role which was published four months ago. Rawson comes from the tech sector, having worked at Microsoft Dynamics 365 as Operations Manager, with previous assignments at Coupang (a South Korean online marketplace) and Flipkart (an Indian e-commerce company.) According to Rawson’s press release, Hasbro stated that his job responsibilities will include “brand growth for the Dungeons & Dragons brand overall and profitability across digital, physical, and entertainment.” Job roster responsibilities indicate that Rawson will serve as the brand’s senior keynote speaker internally and externally, responsible for developing the D&D desktop experience to include both physical and digital environments.

Cynthia Williams, President of Wizards of the Coast, specifically cited Rawson’s digital experience in a press release, noting “increasing digital capabilities and opportunities.” Dungeons & Dragons Thanks to the acquisition of D&D Beyond earlier this year. The press release stated, “Mr Rawson’s first digital experience and e-commerce skill set will set the stage to continue to support the growth of D&D Beyond hand in hand.
