Payday fan boss turned down $23,000 just to be cheated by rams

One Chiefs fan had the chance to shell out $10 for $23,000, but he risked everything for the Rams for a chance to win $74,000. It wasn’t good for him.

If you placed a $10 bet and had a 50-50 chance of winning $74,000 but had a 100 percent chance of winning $23,000, what would you choose?

That’s a question that Chiefs fan Taylor Denny had to answer Sunday night after the leader beat the Buccaneers and had all but one shot to his credit.

He chose the first option, putting all his trust in the Los Angeles Rams to beat the San Francisco 49ers and make him richer with $74,702.67.

Spoiler alert, lost rams.

Payday fan boss turned down $23,000 just to be cheated by rams

Can you imagine getting 15 NFL games with just money for the last game that wipes out your payments? This guy has sweated through games like Vikings Beat Saints, Hawks Beat Brown, Seahawks Beat Lions, Jets Over the Steelers, Bills Over the Ravens, and Packers Beat Patriots in Overtime!

And all he has to show is…the biggest disappointment imaginable.

Twitter couldn’t believe his status:

He has quite a few people to blame, beyond himself for not cashing in the first place. He could blame Depo Samuel, who was supposed to feel like the universe was laughing at him.

He can blame Matthew Stafford for throwing a pick-of-six in the fourth quarter. He could blame the other 31 teams in the league for outsmarting Talanoa Huvanga, a rookie who was drafted by 49ers in the fifth round and is now hopping on the roads like a seasoned veteran.

He could even blame the protester who ran into the stadium with a smoke bomb and forced Bobby Wagner to waste his best of the night on him.

Just know that if you wake up tomorrow feeling frustrated, you at least didn’t turn down $23,000 to put your trust in the rams.
