Kate Middleton felt a lot of pressure choosing her children’s names

KMiddleton ate and opened up about the pressure on her and her husband, Prince WilliamThey felt in choosing the names of their children.

The new Princess of Wales spoke about it during a visit to the maternity unit at Royal Surrey County Hospital on Wednesday.

Amy Stubbsthe deputy midwifery manager at the venue, shared some of Kate’s memories about it.

“She really talked about her kids including how they chose their names,” she told People.

“A lot of new parents are thinking about how to choose names for their children, and they talked to her about how Kate and William were chosen.

“She said they were their favorite names and obviously the world was waiting for them to name their kids – and that felt so much pressure!”

Deputy Principal Amy spoke of her happiness to have Kate at the hospital. She described it as “really fun” and that the whole experience of having a member of the royal family come to the hospital was “very believable”.

“She’s spent a lot of time talking to a lot of the staff and getting to know new moms, dads, and kids throughout the service,” she said.
