After his really funny promo release for upcoming hosting duties just yesterday, Saturday Night Live He debuted some traditional promotions for the upcoming episode of the weekly sitcom Brendan Gleeson. New promotions feature Gleeson, guest musician Willow (daughter of Will Smith and Jada Pinkett Smith), and series star Chloe Feynman, making jokes not only about his appearance in The tragedy of MacbethHis Irish roots, as well as his work in Paddington Movies. When asked by Willow what Paddington would look like in real life, Gleeson replied, “Honestly? A total diva.” Check out the full series from Boredom below and watch the episode this Saturday on NBC and Peacock.

Given the things Saturday Night Live has racked up for its hosts in years past, it wouldn’t be surprising if a Paddington-themed infographic is set to air this week. We previously assumed that Gleeson’s time playing “Mad-Eye” Moody in the Harry Potter films could be ripe fodder for the show, in addition to the fact that he previously played Donald Trump on The Comey Rule on Showtime (and was nominated for a Golden Globe for his performance)..

The former president is a frequent target of satire on Saturday Night Live, even before he entered politics, but he often makes fun of SNL. After Alec Baldwin quit playing Trump on the series, regular actor James Austin Johnson got the party going, becoming a huge favorite not only for how he manages Trump’s voice but also for his way of speaking. Trump’s duel between Gleeson and Johnson appears to be a possible plot at some point regarding the new episode

Although only one episode of Saturday Night Live was released in season 48. First, the opening credits for the new season left one of the main cast members, Cecily Strong, whose departure has not been previously confirmed; It was later confirmed that she would be returning to the series but she is currently filming another project. Another was after it was shown on the air with host Miles Tenner and other props dressed as a bear family from commercials for Charmin’s brand toilet paper. As some have pointed out, the sketch was eerily familiar to filmmaker Joel Hafer who shared it with fans online in July, although Hafer doesn’t think there was any ill intent.
