The Picard Season 3 Trailer reveals a big change in Worf

Star Trek: Picard The full trailer for Season 3 debuted during New York Comic-Con 2022. This will be Piccard The final season, and it comes with massive hype to bring back many of the characters (and actors) from the championship Star Trek: The Next Generation To meet Jean-Luc Picard of Patrick Stewart. The roster of TNG characters returning for Picard Season 3 includes Worf (Michale Dorn), Geordi La Forge (LeVar Burton), Will Riker (Jonathan Frakes), Deanna Troi (Marina Sirtis), Denise Crosby (Tasha Yar) and Beverly Crusher (Gates McFadden), With Brent Spiner also returning as Data’s evil “brother” Lore.

However, the Piccard The season 3 trailer shows that at least one character from the next generation has already gone through a major change: Worf is now a pacifist!

during the Piccard Worf’s season 3 trailer is seen about to take a trip with Riker to seemingly hostile places. Before Worf and Riker set off, Worf gave Riker the last-minute update that he now “prefers peace over combat.”

“We’re all going to die,” Riker replied hilariously.

Being a pacifist is definitely a massive change in his personality. Worf is half Klingon, half human, and throughout Star Trek: The Next Generation, he struggled to reconcile the two halves of himself, controlling the Klingon impulses raging within him. It seemed that by the time of Star Trek: Picard, Worf had definitely decided to go down a different uplifting path.

Where Star Trek: TNG Whorf has grown into what looks like an old statesman. After spending time in Deep Space Nine, Worf became a Federation ambassador to the Klingon Empire, commanded a ship, and reunited with the Enterprise-E crew several times. If anything, hearing that Worf has given up on fighting makes perfect sense for where we expect him to be at this point in life.

Also, given the level of malice and work it seems to be in it Piccard Season 3, it will be interesting to see if Worf’s pacifist ideals last all this time — or even long after that scene with Riker.

Then again, getting back into the fight might not have been the best idea for Worf; Star Trek: Picard Showrunner Terry Matalas explained that none of the TNG grads are safe in Picard’s final season, so Worf might not want to get into any fights that might not go his way.
