The Sonic the Hedgehog Twitter account released footage in the Super Mario Bros. movie.

Sonic the Hedgehog’s Twitter account has released some screenshots for the future Super Mario Bros movie. Video game movies are more popular now because Hollywood is finally starting to crack the code. Although they are not there yet, they are much better than they were 20 years ago and many of them are financially successful as well. However, it took a lot of criticism for this to happen. Earlier this week, Nintendo and Universal began marketing Super Mario Bros movie And while it looks good, fans have had some criticism. One of the movie’s most comedic criticisms is that Mario appears to have no butt, causing fans to scoff at the character’s appearance. However, another sound rang out.

The official account of the Sonic the Hedgehog movie series on Twitter released footage of Mario’s “lower body design”, stating that it could not be associated with this type of controversy. Of course, anyone who was online in 2019 will remember how ugly Sonic designed his first mod for the big screen. His face was very weird and only half of it resembled the character, so apparently the movie could have a more realistic approach. After it was ripped to shreds, the filmmakers decided to redesign Sonic and make it more like its video game counterpart. However, many noticed that his signature red shoes were in the original design… so there was a try!

It seems unlikely that fans will scoff at Mario’s lack of a back end that will actually make Illumination anything related to the upcoming animated film. Maybe they’ll joke about it or make minor changes, but everything else about Mario is about what one can expect, and there’s no mass anger surrounding his general appearance. Some fans were confused by their choice of Italian plumber Chris Pratt, but it was too late to recast.

Super Mario Bros movie It arrives in theaters on April 7, 2023. What do you think of the movie? Let me know in the comments or hit me up TwitterCade_Onder.
