PlayStation Plus added a new beta version of the game tied to one of the most popular games of 2022 released on PlayStation 5 and PlayStation 4 platforms. Back when Sony overhauled PS Plus earlier this year, it included one of the new features it added to the subscription service. Its Premium tier has time-limited demos. And while these experiences launched in a somewhat lackluster state, PS Plus subscribers can now give one of the year’s best games a spin without having to purchase it.
As of this weekend, developer Techland has released a timed demo of death light 2 on PlayStation Plus. This offer gives PS Plus subscribers three hours to play the game themselves. PS5 and PS4 users can look forward to taking advantage of this experience and it should continue to be on PS Plus forever. Once again, it is worth emphasizing that gaming experiences are only tied to the PlayStation Plus Premium tier of the subscription platform. This means that if you are a PS Plus Essential or PS Plus Extra member, you will not be able to access this trial version of death light 2. Outside of gaming experiences, the other major feature of PS Plus Premium is that it allows subscribers to access games from the PlayStation “Classics” catalog that stems from the PS1, PS2, PS3, and PSP.
